Our Mission

"To celebrate Justin's life and memory through scholarship awards to our local youth"

Justin L. Evans Memorial Fund
 126 scholarships and counting!

On April 14, 2001, our son went to be with the Lord.  The love of our life Justin Lee passed away in a tragic motorcycle accident, a premature loss ending a promising young man's life.  Justin Lee was a free spirit and was loved by all who knew him.

His Mother Lynda M Evans-Powers (Mark) established this memorial fund in Justin's memory with his father, Robert L. Evans (Beverly). Please help us keep Justin's memory and legacy alive.

Justin L Evans Memorial Fund has the opportunity to award four $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors each year.

Students who attend the following high schools qualify for the scholarship; Marysville High School, Port Huron High School, Port Huron Northern High School or a member of St Clair County 4-H.  Applicants must have a 2.5 GPA and have a financial need to further post-secondary education.

We focus on giving and serving our youth through Justin's scholarships.  We firmly believe that children are the future of our communities and are proudly involved at the local level benefiting graduating high school seniors to further their education.  Our youth are the building blocks to the future and their education is paramount to sucess.  We are proud to help continue the education of tomorrow's leaders.

To date 126 students have received scholarships

through JLEMF for a grand total of

$126,000

Scholarships are funded through a Bowling fundraiser, Casino fundraiser, Raffle Sales and Donations.

Donations to the fund may be made in memory of someone or as an outright gift.

We are a Non-Profit Organization and your gift is tax-deductible.

Our events are open to all in the community and invite you to join us.  We appreciate all of the support and participation in our special events to date.  Please consider joining us at an upcoming event or making a donation as we strive to continue awarding deserving high school graduates annual scholarships.  Recipients sincerely appreciate the annual financial assistance towards their education.
